Coz he made 2 real changers. Failing to kick the ball out from a penalty is one of the worst ways of relinquishing profession and his intercept pass was never on but I’ll grant you it happens plenty of times and to much better players than him.
I just think he needs a rest coz he’s been looking like a bit aloof from the team of late. Just my opinion and I know hes got heaps of potential so I’m not saying he’s not part of our future just think he’s a bit flat.

I would say Galvin was the third best player in the team tonight after Bula and Sam

Actually, that’s a good point, API is frazzled and needs a break as well. Given this year is stuffed maybe we should give him an easy run home and play TDS with API off the bench.

Didnt watch the game, just watched the NRL highlight package, Was the Olam send off justified? Looked like just a hard tackle in the clip. I guess any hard tackles are send offs now the game has gone softer than netball.

Actually, that’s a good point, API is frazzled and needs a break as well. Given this year is stuffed maybe we should give him an easy run home and play TDS with API off the bench.

I said earlier in the thread that Api needs a break … Benji has overcooked him this year and needs to manage his playing time much better next year …

I think Galvin can continue playing and developing a combination with Latu…

Someone that touches the ball as often as he does will naturally have a higher error rate

You cant teach confidence and he has got in spades at 18. We will have a king size battle to keep him cause he is one young player that comes with no risk.

Don't worry about Galvin or pin point his errors. He is a superstar in the making. He is playing in a losing team that is surrounded by negative media and in house issues.. He has immense ball skills and reads the game well. Not his fault at this stage (and his age) that he overplays his hand at times. Watch him develop next year playing alongside Luai

Our Rookies / Young Guns led the way tonight, they never gave up. They played hungry. It’s our future.

Api made several errors defensively and attack
Olam hit wasn’t on
Staines rushing in the 1st half
Papa selfish run

Those plays all cost us in major ways

Staines looking like he has filled in well for Nofa.
Leaves his opp. winger regularly to let him score. And misses the centre as well, but this can be coached out of him in next 2-3 years.
"Tries hard" wears a bit thin after a while!

Our problem is the NRL's problem. They can't indefinitely shift blame onto the weakest club. It makes a mockery of their salary cap, which is all about fairness. They can't perpetuate unfairness in that environment.

What does the salary cap have to do with our discipline?

I love this team, enjoying the journey a lot more tonight, saw heart and fight 💪
Two key moments, Latu injured and obviously Olam send off changed everything
But again, all heart ❤️
And what about Bula, had a different attitude from previous games, mans certainly special

special mention R Porter, offered more tonight than Bateman over his entire WT career…
