The Roosters had a lot go wrong on Sunday afternoon but the Raiders had to show plenty of guts to hold out the premiership heavyweights.

Canberra played with 12 men for 20 minutes against the best attacking team in the competition when Whitehead was sin-binned twice.

They continued last week’s grittiness against Penrith to knock off two premiership contenders in as many weeks.
