Yes I was scratching my head over that selection. We had more experienced centres available, Staines could have played at fullback as there were two or three players that could have played wing....starting Mason & Feledy was a recipe for disaster in what could have been a face saving game.

We've got much needed metre eaters in our outside backs next year, and some decent forward pickups with more to come I'm sure. Very hopeful next year will be much improved.

Agree, dont understand it. The mentality of the club allowing it- were they even in on what was to be done? Its not a PR op or a crowd faithful pleasing exercise- that can be done any other time but not at the start of a crucial footy game. The coach needed to show he was switched on and he and his staff ready- DID NOT HAPPEN. WHAT WAS THE CLUB THINKING???????????????????????
