Can anyone tell me why Mitchell Moses is playing halfback when his future is meant to be five eight ?

Mitchell has played plenty of 7 and there is bugger all difference between 6 and 7 these days. He is also a pretty handy 9.

9?? He's pretty small for a 9\. You mean 1?

No I mean 9, he plays well above his weight and will be a very similar build to Cameron Smith.

Good looking side once again, hopefully we can control the game well and run the big Warriors pack around.

Don't think Moses has ever played 9 for the Tigers. Always halves or fullback. Perhaps you're referring to Holy Cross Scorcher if you watched him there?

Also still no Farrell, even off the bench. You'd think he has to be injured to not even get a look in off the bench???

Apparently he had a good game last week out in the bush somewhere…

This current Fullback doesn't do a lot, plus Mason could offer good utility value anywhere in the backline.

I suppose he will have to wait til injuries strike?!

I believe Moses played primarily as a 9 off the bench in his first year in SG Ball with Balmain. He was significantly smaller at that stage, but was electric out of dummy half. I think he could provide the same off the bench for first grade if the opportunity was there, although given the impact the current bench is having, I wouldn't change much.

Moses was dynamic at 9 coming of the bench in SG Ball in 2011, most games that he came on for the Tigers were struggling but he turned every game when he came on. He would be an ideal 14 in time being able to cover 7,6,9 and anywhere else in the backline.

Farrell isn't injured, played for Thirlmere Roosters in Group 6.

On the current fullback, he is yet to score a try in the trials or the 3 round games. He must be good at something but I'm not sure what that is yet.

I heard a rumour the coach has gone with him because he hasn't done anything wrong in the trials or the first 3 rounds…

If this bloke keeps doing nothing, he will never get dropped!
