Rugby League Summertime comes to Concord Oval

It was a case of lights, camera and action when the film crew from TV Show Rugby League Summertime visited Concord Oval today.

Rugby League Summertime gives supporters an insight into pre-season training and how their team is shaping up for the 2013 Telstra Premiership.

Wests Tigers Captain Robbie Farah, Chris Lawrence and new signings Braith Anasta and Eddy Pettybourne were interviewed after training by reporter Chris Warren.

New NRL Coach Mick Potter and strength and conditioning staff John Skandalis and Hayden Knowles spoke about the work the NRL squad has already undertaken.

Wests Tigers will feature on Rugby League Summertime on Thursday, January 2, at 7pm on Fox Sports 1 and 1HD.

They have been training at BoxHQ, Canada Bay.A new Gym it is a Cross Fit Gym. It is part of some sponsorship deal they have organised.

They still do a lot of weights training at Concord though.
 
great to see this show is back!

although it's pretty much the TV equivalent of the off season forum chatter

'yeah the boys are working hard'

'yeah Mr Potter is a hard taskmaster'

'yeah the new guys are settling in well'
 
The episode is actually on Thursday 3rd of jan at 6pm, not today, the article says the 2nd.. Enjoy
