:astonished: I have just finished watching English club Rugby, Gloucester vs Bristol then Leicester vs . Northampton on Fox2 in the Aviva Cup comp. The standard of refereing was second to none. Would leave NRL Refs for dead. They NRL refs wouldnt even Qualify as Waterboys! Two very high Quality games .

The ref in the Wallabies vs Poms game was abysmal. He was a South African i think. It's not so much the code in particular that has good officials, it is a lottery in general. The best refs in world sport are the NFL ones but admittedly that sport moves at a snail's pace so that probably counts for a lot.
Just a shame the NRL would be near the bottom of the list.
