SALARY CAP & INJURIES

Have seen a few comments in paper about the impact of injuries on the way our salary cap will be measured in 2013\. Not sure how it works so would appreciate some feedback from more learned forum members.

Not sure, I do know that players can have incentives or bonus payments for playing first grade.
Maybe this will impact on this?

I imagine its like having lots of sick full time employees at your office. When you bring in casuals, the non-budgeted employment expenses go up.

They should do it like the NFL do

for example Moltzen ACL gone for the year so should be on IR (injured reserve) doesn't count to the cap but can't play again this season and allow space to sign other players

America have it all worked out good, no mid season signings for following years when a player signs with another club they go RIGHT THEN.

but no that would be to good of an idea for the NRL to try
