Schoolboys Cup: Holy Cross to take on Erindale

Round One of the premier national schoolboy’s competition, the GIO Schoolboys Cup continues this Friday afternoon when Holy Cross Ryde play host to Erindale College at Leichhardt Oval.

Holy Cross, who have featured in the last four Schoolboys Cup trophies will go into Friday’s clash as favourites boasting a team including no less than 10 players from the Balmain SG Ball squad including nephew of Ben Elias and current captain Mitchell Moses.

The match will kick off at 3:45pm this Friday at Leichhardt Oval.

Yeah. Holy Cross should go quite deep into this competition with that side. Plenty of strike power in there.
 
It was a cricket score. 56-4 I think it was. How good is Moses let's hope the Tigers have him stitched up for the next few years!!!!

Wow, excellent start for Holy Cross! I didn't think they would pump Erindale by that score. Well done boys.
 
Holy Cross 56, 3 tries Mitch Moses, 2 tries Luke Brooks and Jayden Wheelhouse, 1 try each Chris Moana, Brad Deitz and Josh Siddle. 6 conversions Matt Woods, 1 each Moses and Brooks.
Erindale College 4, 1 try Sonny Tupuola.

Next game is against Illawarra Sports High in a bit under a month at Wollongong.
