Send Off vs Sin Bin

Does ANYONE wearing a pink jersey seem to know the difference?

Corey Payne comes in and gives a dangerous and reckless shot on Jarryd Hayne. Hayne gets up and headbutts him. The ref's send both to the sin bin.

If the ref's acknowledge that both were penalties and needed time on the sidelines, they have no choice BUT to send both off. You cannot sin bin players for reckless or inappropriate play, its merely a tool for porffessional fouls and calming players down after a fight or a string of penalties.

Luckily the Dogs won, but Hayne should of spent that whole game in the sheds thinking how much of an a-hole he is.

Yeah your right. The more baffling decision was sin binning Ennis for sledging and then copping a punch in the head.

Although I liked seeing him cop a smack in the mouth, he shouldn't have been sin binned…bit rough lol.

The punch on after the Hayne/Payne (wow they rhyme) incident was what caused the sin bin, not the tackles themselves.Hayne should have definitely been sent off, Payne probably shouldn't have been binned, if I was playing and got head butted I would belt the guy too, rather than wait for the second head butt.

I hate how the refs always bin 2 players, they should just bin the agressor and anybody who runs in and throws them. If someone starts throwing them at you what are you supposed to do?

I hate Ennis but I thought he didn't deserve to be sent off.
Was a really entertaining game and the better team won.
I thought Hindmarsh was acting like a grub all night which is somewhat out of character for him, imo.

I wonder what Ennis said to provoke him? Pretty sure I have never seen Hindy react like that before.

I was wondering too. Whatever it was, it really got to Hindmarsh. I don't think I've seen him retaliate like that before either.

Payne: Should have been binned, he came in late and retaliated when Hayne headbutted him.
Hayne Stain: Should have been sent off. Headbutting is on par with hair pulling and sack grabbing for mine. If you can't use your fists you shouldn't be playing.
Hindy: Should have been binned, it's obvious Ennis goaded him in the replay, as he turned back to give him a smack but you can't do that…
Ennis: As much as I hate the guy, he didn't throw the first punch and defended himself. Shouldn't have been binned.

The strange part was that even though he was provoked, Hindy has clocked Ennis and which was a fair enough sin binning however…

Why was Ennis sin binned? he didnt throw any back (mainly because he is a coward), He is known for his niggle, maybe the ref was sick of hearing it?

Joey pointed out a shoulder charge on Hindy by Ennis when he was walkiing back two plays before the incident.

things were spiraling out of control
refs had to exert control
they sin binned ennis

poor performances from all refs last night

lol @ headbutt. If hayne wanted to give him a real headbutt, Payne would have had a broken nose.
I dunno why people take a lil clash of heads like that so seriously.. He was smacked in the face while on the ground, what did you want him to do?

A punch does way more damage then a 'in your face' class of heads..

Parra would have crushed them had Hayne stayed on the field.

I'm with Coca.. was hardly a head butt.
Hayne just got in his face and Payne had a little cry about it, tried to prove his manhood…
Couldn't have lil Jarryd punking him on national TV.

As for Ennis, he made Hindy act like the little b!^$&*# he is.
Exposed him for the tantrum thrower he is.

so we sending hayne off for a head rub, but fine with payne trying to take out the best player on opp team?…. all the sin bins were and justified
