It is about depth which we lack. What I like most about Staines is that he has incrementally improved each year. His pace is a big bonus and his experience with the Premiers.

Would Staines really have that much pull? Although then there would a lot of ex-panthers making up the roster. Api, Naden, Blore, Staines, Laurie.

I watched a couple of the Panthers' games and he had improved a lot. Let's face it, he'd be a starting winger at WTs.

I disagree. Our wingers are currently just about the only go forward we have. Until we have a decent pack we can’t afford to swap a meter eating winger for one that averages 50m
