I think we should be careful about labelling TS as the Messiah, come to free us from oppression.
He is rightly recognised as a good coach, and having handled club and country teams has the necessary cred.
But Madge was also a proper coach and despite his best efforts was not able to achieve much.
TS is 73, hasn’t coached at this level for some time, coming on board with 2 unknown ( coaching wise ) assistants and the hopes of every WT fan.
But there is a long way to go. I for one will be happy with small improvements, 80 min effort, playing to potential, playing for the team, etc.

I dont think AD would stay if he was going to play centre cause he sees himself as a five eight

AD is way over rated. AD will only look ok in a good side. We are so far off the pace as a club it just shows management and previous coaches had no idea how to build a good side.

Doesn't matter whos coaching next year with our roster its hopeless If we are being honest this years roster take away Mikhalae, Luciano, kelma ,Garner and add Papalii ,Api, = still bottom team
By rights we should also lose Tamou, and a few other forwards that are not up to it
We will probably lose Madden and might lose Douehi
Hastings and Kenny busted .
Cant see even a tiny flicker of a light at the end of the tunnel
Only thing that will lift my confidence is Sheens announcing a number of top class signings

I think you can add Stef and Blore to our additions, even Twal to an extent. Those 3 fit along with Paps and Api really lift our pack. Stef will be a huge key next year with his size, a lot depends on him. Hopefully Pole continues up and up, what a find he has been, and hopefully Tommy T finds a home in the backrow, which I think he will very effectively. He will end up a better backrower then Nikora.

Yes you are right I must admit Steph has been out so much this year im wondering if he's ever going to stay fit long term but he is a classy player
Blore been out so long I'm treating him as an unknown .Twal good tackler but stifles the attack . Was hoping Talau would give us a solid center we need one but I hear he's put on a bit of weight

It goes to show that changing coaches makes no difference, and seeing that the tigers have a long history of doing that where has it all got us. Next year under another new coach won't change a thing. I watched the game for 5mins and knew exactly what was going to happen and turned it off and surprise surprise look at the end result. Nothing has changed.

I disagree, the continual change has a negative impact. The constant change shows we have no plan, no goals, no idea.

Madge was a type of coach that believed , pretty much every one gets paid roughly the same even money. That’s why players left the way they did, players didn’t look at us twice. He hated every Cleary $$$ signing. Brooks was killing his philosophy.
Player managers laughed at this guy, so did souths and that’s why he can’t get a gig now. He loved writing up deals that were hard to understand. Only the NZ job suits him cause no wages are involved.Good luck and good riddance you shmuck . That’s your review kids, that’s what some still wanted more of, glad to see him go, rubbish coach.
Advocate of $460k average contracts while he was paid double, double standards, and then wants to flog them at training, what a fool. 3.5 years and he refused to change. Like the many on here.
