Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The challenge with Bateman is that i beleive every senior player has returned early, except him. So we can talk about 1 day to just been per schedule, but others are weeks earlier than schedule.

Benji is trying to shift the culture. John isn't helping this, even when he's been given plenty of rope in the past.

Jerome's back?
Their last games were against each other yeah?

Because of McDonald's and other fun food distributaries? You are right Sir - humans are bigger. Many too big.
Its because farmers are putting steroids and growth hormones into the food of cattle, sheep pigs and chickens to make them bigger. Farmers get more $$ if their product (meat from cattle, sheep pigs and chicken) is bigger .. much bigger.

All the farm animals get bigger .. kids of today eat this contaminated meat (from Macca's and KFC) and they get bigger .. say no more .. big humans .. !!

Thats why organic is more expensive i guess. How much does diabetes, high cholesterol and mental fatigue really cost?

Tim Brasher went to my school and was in Year 12 in 1988 when he made Australian Schoolboys. He then repeated Year 12 in 1989 at a different school when he made his 1st grade debut and played the grand final aged 18.

He actually initially played in Wests Magpies junior reps
1989 - John Paul ll Senior High School Marayong

When you earn $600k plus per year, you do what your friggin told. Couldnt give a shit if it's for 1 day.
Oh no that's bullying him!

Didnt you know he is allowed to take 600k a year from the tigers and can dictate terms to his employer.
Lol

If he's gonna play the game of using the rules of his contract against the tigers, why is it so surprising that the tigers do the same in return?

And his wife and baby are in Australia ? , which “ family “ is he seeing that he hasn’t seen for the past couple months ?

Lestronge, mate you are SO right in your honest appraisal of kiddies soccer. All the "academy" scouts have to see is dad with the keys to the Cayenne in his hands, and momma that's just had the girls lifted and plumped . . . and he don't even care if their kid knows what shape a soccer ball is . . . they got money, they got ambition for lil Belvedere . . . and that's all it takes for them to real soon have a little less money.
Yep . It’s why the Socceroos are a joke at the moment and have been since the boys from wests Sydney and west Melbourne retired about 10 years ago .
It’s less about talent identification and more about how and when the “academy” can profit.
The reason I bring this up in an NRL forum is , I really don’t think the nrl has anything to worry about from football .
It used to be be football fans and those around that game would say “Australia is full of bogans that’s why afl and nrl are bigger “.
Now it’s pretty much rhetoric and well understood that footballs biggest issues is the parasites who have infected there junior development.
It’s really a pretty good argument for anyone against centralising youth systems and a draft .
The NBA has a similar issue with thier AAU setups , and scumbags convincing kids parents with TBH mediocre talented kids , that thier kid is the next Steph Curry .which leads to huge money turnover for these academy’s.
Because the nrl clubs have thier own systems , thier own pathways and really kids as young as 12-13 having youth development deals , it allows very limited accessibility for parasitic programs.
Theres still plenty out there though .

Like I said. Petty.
The RLPA are the ones who told the tigers the 21st. We then said great we will see you then. If his original due back date was then, why should he get special treatment for a delayed return?

It wasn't until he received that information of the 21st that the mysterious corporate post season work came to light and the RLPA gave us a later return date which we have adhered to
