Simona will be out for 4 weeks & the length of Sue & Teds iniuries are unknown.

wow this leaves us with a likely Lulia…Lawrence.

Not good .. Apparently Simona had his two front teeth smashed out in that head clash … Ouch !

Geez why do our blokes always come out on the wrong end in these clashes? :bash They seem to be made of glass! This is really bad news - our centre stocks are looking so uninspiring at the moment.

4 weeks? we can't catch a break. From having a near empty "casualty" ward to it being filled up again.

3 years of this crap.

And yes, on top of that, we get rid of Koro days before, the luck and the timing.

We've all seen the change in the side on previous years, if only we can keep players on the park.

We can't take a trick. I'd be inclined to give Fine a go over Lulia. As for Sue, well I suspect Akauola will come back up and hopefully Gavet knuckles down and works hard on getting back into FG.

Like Eddie, I just can not believe they let Koro go mid season, our outside back stocks were low before yesterdays disasters now the cupboard is empty.

Who ever makes these calls is brain dead

have a think about the koro deal . The salary cap was mentioned there was obviously a benefit to move him on now then next yr . Im sure if there was NO benefit to losing him he would still be here they don't just sit there and say kORO not being used cya later .

we are in top 8 of each grade u must start losing players and making tough decisions

To keep koro we would have to fork out approx 150k. To sit in reserves.

We gave him an opportunity, to play 1st grade, signed john sila, a good replacement for min wage.

There is always more to every situation than meets the eyes.

This frees up approx 70k in our salary cap.

Koro whilst talented, just didn't seem to fix up his weakness, he might be that type of player that no matter how many times he was told he did not take it in.

Also the culture change we have been installing in this squad, requires everyone to buy in. If he wasn't, then so be it.

I have an idea, lets sign ever player and keep them all in reserve grade or sitting at home incase we get injuries!!!!! Wake up

Some people on this forum have no idea. Thank goodness they are not running the club or it would have been bankrupt years ago. Koro would NOT have offered anything to solve our backs problem.

Look I know many on here are upset by all the injuries

But I'm looking at it a different way , these blokes are getting injured putting everything on the line which hasn't always happened in seasons past

So proud of our boys

Proud to be a Wests Tigers supporter Had the Tigers jersey on again today travelling back from Townsville and a few people who had watched the game commented on the guts we showed

X 2 willow. These two won't let the side down and keeps Austin at fullback. Is there any update on nofa ? He looked like he was on one leg when he came back on towards the end of last nights game.

Thompson to the centres , Halatau to second row

Thompson's just too slow to defend in the centres for mine. In both the Knights and Raiders games he found himself defending in the backs and conceded soft tries because he couldn't stay with his opposite number.

Understand what you are saying and took that under consideration

Whare and Idris aren't flyers by any stretch of the imagination

The only other option is Lulia and they are about the same speed imo

Fine has shown time and again that he is too good for State Cup. Strong and fast. He is just what we need to replace Simona. Plays right side too which enables Lawrence to play his preferred side.

Joel Caine has said several times over the past month that there are big wraps on Fine which suggests to me that he isnt too far off first grade.

Playing Bodene in the centres and Halatau in the backrow would leave us very exposed laterally IMO.

Agree, and I would not have Halatau in the backrower either. Too small and won't provide any impact there.
