Simona

Have really taken a liking to the way this kid has stepped up.I know he had a few nerves in his first game but has improved on each game he has had.His defense has been getting stronger and I know he had 1 bad read yesterday, but no teams so far have run over the top of him. Also his positional play has been very good.
I just think Simona,if he keeps improving at the same rate will become a very good quality player very quickly.

Absolute little gem . Probably along with Miller and Woods our best finds of the year . As for the bad read I think it was more Benjis fault myself Benji was the one who moves out of the line .

He does look good. Can someone just tell him to keep away from the touch line - he is too small currently and can get taken over the sideline far too easily.

Thought his defense was good and attack solid.

I have liked what I have seen of him so far. Remember he has only played 3 NRL games.

I too thought his miss in defence was due to Marshall racing up from the line.

Great to replace a centre with a centre and not Moltzen or Brown.

I thought he was one of the better backs yesterday. He showed maturity in two really good one on one tackles on Slater. Looking at him I've been concerned players would run over the top of him but it hasn't really happened yet.. Unfortunately for Daniella, I foresee Simona taking his spot as 3rd choice centre next year.

He is enthusiastic and I like the way he shows urgency whether he is near the ball or not. Too many of our players don't show any urgency off the ball, and even drop their head and switch off if something goes wrong instead of ensuring they right the wrong or at least try to!
It's like most of our top squad have lost their enthusiasm. I think they could learn something from the 20's team in that regard.

i think he looks a talent, and will do well in the future, I think physically he has some development ahead of him, but a big off season in the gym will see him come along nicely.

Defensivly brilliant !
Looks like he actually wants to be there, puts his heart into it.
Top defender VS the storm imo

His defence is surprisingly good given the step in quality from the NYC, plus Simona tips the scales under 90kg. He's not a genuine speedster unfortunately, but I think he has pretty good vision and I look forward to seeing how he develops.

He has aimed up well especially for a player of his size and experience. Watching him play gives me more confidence in his ability to hold his own compared to some of our experienced backs. Look forward to seeing more of him at NRL level, particularly how he adapts to being targetted by opposition coaches, he looks at this stage as a player who will develop and be able to handle the pressure.

Thought Melbourne aimed a lot of attack at him early then changed there line when they couldn't get through.

Yes I saw the same and he did well just hope he can sustain it. Having said that, I'm confident he can looks like a very good player in the making IMO.

the reason melb socored that try against benji and tim was because they got caught out ,without a second rower to help them a think he made the previous tackle.
