RETIRED Balmain backrower Paul Sironen mixed it with some of the toughest Tigers of them all.
Steve “Blocker” Roach, Wayne Pearce, Bruce McGuire, Benny Elias and Kerry Hemsley to name a few.
Today, Sirro wants to take you inside the Tigers preparations for Saturday’s match against the Sharks, where the club is running a “Back to the 1980s” theme.
To fit with the evening, Sirro will also be naming his greatest Balmain side from the 1980s, an era when the Tigers made grand final appearances in 1988 and 1989.
Do English imports Ellery Hanley and Garry Schofield make the cut? Is there room for Tim Brasher and Mick Neil?
Now based at the Tigers Concord headquarters, Sirro will also take you inside the Tigers camp in the lead up to Saturday’s clash with Cronulla.
Have they peaked too early? Have they been lucky in some tight games? Send Sirro your questions and comments and he’ll be live from 11am.
