Smiling Assassin - Krisnan Inu

Most would love to see the likes of Koro or Semi at the WT's next year, lets be real, which club wouldn't. If they were out of the equation, who else is a viable option?

I personally wouldn't mind Krisnan Inu. I rated him as a player.

He is currently contracted with the Catalan Dragons in the Super League until the end of 2016.
Not sure what his asking price would be, but at 29, he may be worth a 2-3 year deal if the price is right.

*Proven at NRL level
*Covers the entire back line
*Great set of hands
*Amazing leap
*Can find the try line
*Goal kicker

What you guys & gals think? Who else is a **realistic** option for 2017 you would love to see here?

lol. Well if we don't find a winger, someone's gonna have to make the call to Lote and tell him to lace up for 2017.

People love to keep turning the clock backwards. Yes he would solve our goal kicking woes, but that is about it,last time in the NRL he mix one great games with a few average games and the odd shocker….a few years on and he will not be any better

Koro is 23 and the fastest player in the NRL. I'll happily take him over a notoriously lazy 29 yr old.

He wouldn't play against the dogs, hes also injured at the moment, not sure what the injury is though.

That wasn't the question, though. I'd rather have Sonny-Bill Williams than Elijah Taylor but one of those isn't a realistic signing for a team that's been consistently bad and hasn't got any money.

I wouldn't be so sure. If i remember correctly Tigertorch said a few weeks back we were about 100k below his asking price. All of a sudden there's talk we're releasing JAC who would be on about that amount of money.

He can be lazy. If he shakes that off and comes reasonably cheap, I'd say yes. Love his cheeky little smile, just before he kicks for goal.

I'd take what you read with a pinch of salt before swallowing it all old son.

No thanks. Playing 1st grade does not mean he is a proven 1st grader. If my memory serves me correctly he finished up in reserve grade at the dogs and they offloaded him, as he was not up to NRL standard. Joel Monaghan and Justin Carney kill it at super league level. Need to be very careful what you buy from over there.

Koro will end up playing rugby at the Melbourne rebels. His defence is better suited to that game.

Joel Monaghan played for NSW and Australia.

He was a very good player, but do not think that he would be at that level now.

He's hardly tearing it up in the ESL so he'd be unlikely to make a huge impact back in the NRL. His career tends to suggest that he's a guy with plenty of talent but not a lot of application. He gets signed on the back of his talent and when he's motivated he can deliver a couple of good games, but then he loses focuses, starts playing like garbage and moves on again. Not the kind of player our club will be able to get the best out of.
