I am 42…followed them all my life. Never, ever, ever seen a performance this bad. Never, ever, seen a team where no one...absolutely no one...puts their body in the line.

This is the most gutless, heartless, soulless performace I have ever seen.

Penrith have a tonne of injuries and young player also, so dont anyone give me crap about that.

Potter out.

Humphreys out.

Simmons out.
 
Pretty much… Ive followed Balmain and Wests Tigers my entire life... I dont often post on this forum these days, but I couldnt help it tonight.

I dont even know what to say, I'm not even angry, I just cant believe it.

I have no words to desribe this, Id rather the team not even exist at the moment then to watch this happen... What a mess this club is, id back my local group 1 team to beat them, and Im not even joking.

I cant believe how low we have sunk in 12 months…beginning of 2012 we were premiership favorites....now we'd struggle to beat a NSW cup side...something is horribly wrong

A defensive coach won't fix players not being able to tackle if they can't tackle now. It isn't the structure that is so bad - it is simple one on one misses.

The other Souths game at the SCG in 09 was probably the only other game where I had the same feeling, we were smashed 50+ as well but not as many injuries.

Then we were on a winning streak shortly after. Frankly i don't see that happening this time around.
 
I'd feel better with Braith back in the halves, but who is going to tighten up our middle? It wasnt the size of Souths forwards chests, but more the lack of heart in a few of our shoulders.

Exactly what is/was his vision for the club? Is he trying to rebuild or is he trying to win a championship? This team resembles neither.

Our forward pack is awful. There was no need to get rid of Gibbs.

Heighno was a bit past it and Fifita had the common sense to smell Sheens for the shit he was, so he was smart to leave.

But if you're going to let these guys leave, at least have some sort of contingency plan. I'll be fecked if Pettybourne, Thompson, Anasta, Blair and BMM were his plan to replace veteran firstgraders and a gun up and comer.

I haven't even mentioned the Sheens re-signing, let alone the payout of his contract. Or the numerous salary cap breaches. Or Blair's contract. Or Lawrence's re-signing. Or letting go of Ryan. Or Tuqiri's re-signing. Or his handling of the Moltzen deal.
 
Yes, we are leaving with Sheen's mistakes but mate, as the OP asked, if we were a fair dinkum corporation, heads would be rolling by now…

i know we want to throw the book at plenty of people and i have supported the tigers for about 60 years but one thing we should all say souths are a very good side and it is up to the players and staff to reach that standed not carry on.
 
Its going to be a tough month ahead, BUT we will start to get some size back in the forwards not to mention the backs from injury and can finish the season on a high note, lets hang in
