I saw this on the news on _Sunrise_ this morning. It looks a bit like the cloud thing from _Independance Day_ when the space ship enters Earths atmosphere.

The weird thing is I watched _Independence Day_ last night. What are the odds??? :neutral_face:

Now this is either a classic example of a stratus mixed with a altostratus surrounding a cirius with a touch of cumulus
