@Corporate Tigerman said:@turnstyle said:i dont actually know about how they go with sponsors, but the impression i have is that it is lagging… it wasnt long ago there seemed to be a financial crisis as well as the balmain leagues club going down?
sad to see hyundai has dropped the tiges. for some reason i just think that having well known companies on the jerseys makes the team appear more prestigious and yes, it is a matter of the big guys only wanting to be associated with successful clubs. take souths for instance.
hopefully after a successful year the tigers will be running around with the "" on the front and coca cola on the back...
It was a business decision for Hyundai to focus on the increasing cost and exposure value of the 'Hyundai' A-League which they wanted to keep their competition naming rights. Un-fortunately this came at the cost if the WT sponsorship going forward. They have been a great partner but now it's time to give some other company the chance to jump on board with one of the most recognisable sponsorship properties across all football codes (NRL, Super XVs, AFL and A-League). Have faith in the club management and trust that the replacement sponsor will be an awesome fit commercially for both the sponsor and the club.
