Star Wars - Thread...Contains Spoilers*

I reckon it's a 7/10 film. Thought they did well to make it engaging enough for the Star Wars fans who knew the end already. Diego Luna, Donnie Yen and Mads Mikkelsen held it together.
Yet that is what I find so SO sad about "the force Awakens".

I enjoyed it in the cinema's, sure it's a rehash of Episode 4 a new hope. But it brought a stack of characters in and they were actually interesting. It kinda hit the star wars notes, was a little different but did not butcher the franchise. I agree it's a very 7 star film.

Then we saw Episode 8 butcher the franchise. Then 9, making 7-8-9 actually worse then 1,2,3...

Kinda like watching the tigers play and see us win the first few games of the season... To come 9th. Then watch us getting the wooden spoon.

Its knowing what a horrible SUCK comes after it that really weakens "the force awakens".

Pretty much feel the same.

Rogue One was a good offering as a film, the only decent movie except for maybe Solo which was passable.

Mandalorian is the only series worth watching. Boba Fett started off good and they ruined it. Total disappointment.

Did you watch Andor?

Any star wars fans here been to the Light Sabre Academy on the Central Coast? Sons of Obi Wan it's called... Essentially it's practicing theatre combat under the guise of light sabres, but it's good fun if you want to try something different....
