OFFICIAL STREAMING FINDS and RECOMENDATIONS

Finally got around to watching both Kingsmen movies. Enjoyed them both (Netflix, leaving 7th Feb)

We're watching The Last of Us (I think that's what it's called) on Binge.

Anyone watching Black Snow? Loving it

I’m very picky unless I love a show early. Depends on mood, serious or drown out entertainment. Some favs i watched recently.

Black Snow - Stan (Aussie, gritty crime drama, cold case lead actor from Vikings). Brilliant - can’t wait for next episode to drop. Two seasons of awesome Aussie stuff and gritty dark if you like that.

White Lotus - Binge - totally different end of the spectrum. Ludicrous, well acted comedy / drama. 2 seasons a hit and and a 3rd to come.

Yellowstone - watch it for what it is and then watch 1883 for something more real. The latter is amazing.

Dark Matter, Apple, I like dystopian/time travel stuff, Aussie lead actor, watched it waiting for each episode to drop. I loved it. Has to face himself in different worlds depending on the door he chooses

I second Landman - Prime- awesome.

For the record the wife enjoyed all of these. I had to make her watch 3 episodes of landman before the drama and women make part of story kicked in but she finished it in a week.

There is cool Samurai show on Disney - can’t remember the name but awesome - Disney generally crap. The Bear was good but not for me.

I also unsubscribe if no good stuff is on, then easy to come back when something good drops. Like Kayo for me in off season

Cheers

Shogún 🔥

For anyone who was a fan of the original Dexter series, Dexter: Original Sin is streaming on Paramount Plus. New episodes air Friday nights and last night’s (episode 8) was really good - no spoilers from me. With only two episodes left, it’s definitely worth checking out, it has that classic Dexter feel.

For those who usually watch Black Snow, the finale aired Wednesday night. I missed half of it due to a phone call 😞 so I’ll be doing a rewatch. Saw the ending sets it up for season 3. Liked it as much as the first season.

Both on the watch list Lauren
