Guys,
I saw the writing on the wall 5 mins into the 2nd half. Taking the emotion out of it lets break it down...
At present the experience in our side are borderline 1st grade. Our centres and bench are well below the standard needed to compete at this level. This is where we fall away. Honestly we will take a win from the Bulldogs but they will get the other. We will lose the rest.
I honestly believe that Madge can onlywork with what he has, which is very little. Our players have a go but are just not up to it.
This afternoon did anyone really believe we were a chance of finishing in the 8? Even with the easier draw?
I believe the Pascoe and his mates need to go before Madge. Sacking Madge isnt the answer. Even Wayne Bennett or Bellamy would really struggle with our cattle. If they do sack him then I will support whoever steps in but its a poison chalice.
The most worrying thing for me is there isn't any light at the end of the tunnel. I cannot see anyway the WT digging themselves out of this situation over the coming years.
