Take Out The Emotion (As Hard As It May Be)

Guys,
I saw the writing on the wall 5 mins into the 2nd half. Taking the emotion out of it lets break it down...

At present the experience in our side are borderline 1st grade. Our centres and bench are well below the standard needed to compete at this level. This is where we fall away. Honestly we will take a win from the Bulldogs but they will get the other. We will lose the rest.

I honestly believe that Madge can onlywork with what he has, which is very little. Our players have a go but are just not up to it.

This afternoon did anyone really believe we were a chance of finishing in the 8? Even with the easier draw?

I believe the Pascoe and his mates need to go before Madge. Sacking Madge isnt the answer. Even Wayne Bennett or Bellamy would really struggle with our cattle. If they do sack him then I will support whoever steps in but its a poison chalice.

The most worrying thing for me is there isn't any light at the end of the tunnel. I cannot see anyway the WT digging themselves out of this situation over the coming years.

i can. we lose mbye. we have money. buy a decent center. we move up a notch and continue. upgrade when opportunity come. no knee jerk expensive marquee.

Money isnt our problem. Nobody wants to come. This is what's most fearful.

Wayne Bennet or Bellamy would get good cattle though. And probably get a couple more wins than we've had in the meantime

reason broncos bad for so long is the same. spent too much on long contract. milford is abit like brooks. i prefer brooks over milford

I'd swap milford in a heartbeat. Both would do good with a change / swap

with respect - Blah Blah Blah

Same sentiments over and over again. Same excuses over and over again.

There is only one simple fact in all this time under Madge that we need to analyse - are we a better football team. Have we progressed on the field. Have we grown, developed, are we playing better under him. The answer is clearly no. with or without emotion you can see this answer.

what he brought did not cost the earth over 4 or 5 years

Yes and the results are showing.9th, 11th and anywhere between 13th & 15 but let’s not spend

All the ball in the first half, no direction, no idea and next to no points.

10 minutes into the 2nd half we are behind. Still no direction, no idea and no points.

Disagree with the no light. The reason it feels so bad at the moment is they are actually digging in and changing things. No more overs or long contracts. Managers and media are shaking our cages.

Where we sit in the table is actually no no worse than previous seasons. Can only move upwards.
