and answer this honestly, Are we the best team that didnt make the finals the last 3 years?

and in some ways i think we were better then some teams in the 8 in 06 and 07, but we always just failed to win the key games.

I know this is a token thread but it was something i was thinking about yesterday and i have no doubt in my mind that if we miss out again this year it will most likely be the same feeling, was just wondering if anyone agreed

if your a good team you don't miss out. we were doing plenty of things wrong.

We have an ordinary squad to be honest. I know that will attract abuse from others but I am able to see things without being 100% biased all the time, our team is average.

Our fans have always overated the likes of Lawrence, Collis, Halatau, Gibbs, Payten, Marshall, Heighington etc…

Bottom line is we are an average football team, nothing special. The fact we have a 90% fail rate of reaching semi finals in a competition in which HALF the teams make the finals just proves that fact.

After this season we will be the ONLY side not to make the finals since 2005 at least once if we don't pull off a miracle.

Notice you left out Farah, Ellis, Galloway, Tuiaki…...Lawrence overated well some of the so called experts like Gould and Sterling rate the kid which is good enough for me..... Then you included Collis and Halatau who only a few on here rate anyway...

There is a big difference between overated and underperforming something Wests Tigers have excelled at the past 3 years.....

Things can turn around very quickly...I seem to remember you tipping the Bronco's to win the comp at the start of the year...how they looking now....

We dont have the Superstar salary cap rorting squad off some of the rated clubs but as long as Our players turn up everyweek and give it their all with pride and passion in the jersey...play for each other...which they have for the majority of this year.....I'll always rate them win lose or draw...

KG…...on target for blues before injury.Id value him at 250k.Would go pretty fast.

Lawrence....same as KG before injury......200 plus

Farah......400k.

Bunji.....250 plus.

Rhino..... 200 plus.

Tuiaki.......number one power winger in the game.......would go for at least 200k.

Ellis.......I reckon he would go for 300.

IMO all of these so called ordinary player would be snapped up in an instant if on the open market,and be worth plenty,I reckon I have undervalued nearly all of them.

Simon you are right, you have savagely undervalued the "market" worth of what Farah,Benji, and Lawry are on…not even in the ball park to what they are getting atm ...
