Taking a penalty goal for first points

I have a theory proven by Parramatta last night but I can’t substantiate it. The team that scores first points in the game with a penalty goal goes on to lose the game. I have observed it many times but I don’t know if this is for real. Does anyone have stats to support my theory?

I put it to Dave Middleton and he replied this year penalty goal has been first scoring play in 16 games. Team kicking first goal has won 7 and lost 9. I’ve gone back to see if he knows what it is historically. Stay tuned.
