Samoan players Reni Maitua, Tautau Moga and Sauaso Sue have been fined $10,000 each for their boozy night out in Brisbane. The trio have already been stood down for Samoa's first clash against England on Saturday.

"These are very substantial penalties for the players involved," said Nick Weeks, the NRL's general manager of integrity. "And we will continue to take a tough stance against players who damage the reputation of our game through these kinds of incidents." Moga was arrested after a brawl outside the club where fans had been invited to meet the Samoan players. The trio are likely to return in time to play New Zealand in Samoa's next game.
