Team harmony in question?

After sitting through last weeks debacle against Souths and now the worst win I have ever witnessed by our team, there is something obviously wrong at the momet. Players looked grumpy, sooking and disinterested out there tonight and I fear there has been a major falling out within the team or club or both. There can be no other reason to explain these last 2 games. Some of those blokes are not putting in and, so far as I could see, it has nothing to do with injury. The "brotherly love" seems to have disappeared. Why did Liam Fulton lead the team out? Why did Bryce Gibbs race straight off the park at the end of the game. Post match interviews of Fulton and Farah were flat and downcast. There is more than a whiff of unhappiness surrounding this squad at the moment and, unless it is sorted out within the next 48hrs, Saints will score 80+ points on us next week.

Liam Fulton lead the side out because it was his 100th game for the club. As for Liam & Robbie being down while interviewed, it probably because they played like crap and were lucky to win.

Liam Fulton led the team out because it was his 100th game. They were downcast because they sucked tonight. They were sad because they performed terribly. You are reading too much into a poor performance.

Edit: Beaten like a government mule.

complacency…........they all know they will be there next week and the week after and the week after that....regardless of how they play .....

They probably seemed flat in the interviews because they played a heavy game and were worn out.
Don't read too much into things.

I have a strong feeling the thread starter is 100% correct and whatever the problems are need to be sorted asap. Ego can be a terrible thing.

This is what I was trying to say in a previous thread in regards to the Tigers telling Gibbs and Fulton they are free to negotiate with other clubs . Gibbs and Fulton are well liked within the group and players aren't fools They can see what is going on and aren't probably happy with Humphreys ,which is being played out on the field to a degree As they say you only need to be 1% off your game in this comp

They can suck it up and do their jobs.

Leave recruitment and retention to the professionals and just play the fn game.

Im sick of the sooks whining and throwing tantrums when things don't go their way. Either play or leave, its that simple.

Totally agree aim up or bugger off. No point having players that think that they are more important than the club. The club and the fans deserve better than the dribble over the last two weeks.

Heres hoping for a switched on performance against St George

The coach is struggling to motivate the side and they are struggling to go along with his stale coaching ideas.

Turn it up Bug. The team did not play to plan last night and again played far too laterally and failed to do the simple things right like hold the damn ball. Take a look at Sheens in the post-match press conference. The old poker player could not contain his anger and disappointment at what the team served up last night.

You think Sheens is coaching them to play sideways and drop the ball??? You think he told Benji to try and throw a 2 man cutout inside the Tigers 10 with 20 seconds left on the clock??? Last night was the players fault and responsibility, that was out of Sheens hands. He told the team to work on completions and get to their kick and what did they do after halftime? They lost the ball on the first 2 sets they had.

It is the players who need to take a good long look at themselves and they need to stop believing the hype that they are as talented as they are. They're supposed to be professional - This is what they do for a living. Once again they need to go back to basics and work on simple go forward so that the likes of Farah, Marshall and Lui and get some room to move and set up some decent play if they're going to do anything in this competition.

Why did Woods standing out of the scrum pass it to Benji anyway?

God only knows mate. There were that many brain explosions last night it's too hard to fathom what the hell the players were thinking.

Totally agree Hybrid not making excuses for the players at all but the more these issues hang around the more instability it will cause . Hopefully Sheens kicks them all up the butt til their noses bleed ands they fire up .

Long time coming hybrid but thts the way i think also…...who knows if thats the right attitude to have but bennett certainly coaches like that and people think the suns shines out of his ring

We always play like this after not being selected for Origin & I suspect many of the players are ill or coming down with the flu

You may well be right LCA. The fact that Sheens said that "this team needs to grow up and wake up" in his post match rant could mean that something's up behind the scenes.
