Bumming around this morning and looking through some old Info I had laying around and decided to put together a team list from the Wests Tigers Legends that only played the one game for us.

That team, at its peak, would dominate Ron Massey Cup

Wouldn't have got done by 30 odd in the last round against the Spooners....

A few of them played more than 1 game I reckon...happy to be corrected

Gamble Chase?
Brown Gower?

Pretty sure that Gamble only had the one run against Canberra.

All only played the one first grade game.

Most of them played in lower grades and juniors for us for a while so I agree it seems like they played more.

They all (bar Gamble) should have played more…
Rangi played 1 game at the end of 06 at hooker I reckon (was signed to saints for 07-08)
Brown debuted with brooks in 13, never got a look in 14 (reckon that’s when we had taupau, gavet etc) then went to the rabbits…
Gower should have debuted and been full time from 08, to get a bit bigger…
was killing it in reserve grade… got a token run at the end of 09 (after we couldn’t make the finals) against the dogs I reckon… stuck out 2010 in ressies (still killing it) went to the Steelers (can’t remember what they were called) in 2011

Gower ended up having a good career at Eels. Turned into a handy player

Should have played 100 more games - was the best reserve grade prop going, we held him back while we played the likes of Danny Galea at prop

Strewth. A few memories buried in there.

Yeah I remember all the chat here about Gamble for months, getting talked up massively... Probbaly why it seems he played more.

I remember Rangis game he gave someone a charity try

I actually thought he played ok for the Broncs…
Wasn’t Lockyer, but had some solid moments for a middle age reserve grader… he got a lot of the credit for how good Drinkwater was going at the time… he was killing it when he came home that year - drinkwater left mid year and the wheels fell off the black and whites…

Could chuck Josh Drinkwater in with them.

He's at 7...

Lol
Clint Hill s a good mate of mine, I was only talking to him last week about his one and only 1st grade game at the Tigers - the last game of the 2003 season. He did go on to be S&C trainer for the Tigers in 2005. Currently now S&C at the West Harbour Pirates plus his other business interests
