Tedesco Replacement

Lets say worst case scenario we lose tedesco. Who should we focus on signing (ovious option mansour) and other signing ideas

I'm fairly sure that Mansour is a specialist winger not fullback. If he is a winger/fullback we have plenty including Nofolaloma, Simona and Rowe.

Gutherson from Manly would be great but won't happen.I would sign Quinlan from the Dragons for depth & develop Rowe & Sliemann

Potter seems to have a good record with fullbacks. Moltzen played better at fullback last year than his entire life. Teddy has done amazing and even Rowe is improving by miles each game.

Whoever we sign, I'm sure they'll do great.

Options 1 being the one I preffer.

1\. Josh Mansour
2\. Mamo from Knights
3\. Mitch Moses
4\. Kurtis Rowe

Now there's a point. The Knights may effectively have their whole squad off contract as players negotiate new agreements In the restructure. Same thing happened when the Titans went bankrupt a couple of years ago. I think any agreement with HSG will be void.

If we sign Mansour ro play fullbakc ill be annoyed.
Decent ball runner, but has terrible hands and is not a choice for NRL first choice fullback.

If can secure an established fullback that would be great. (Hoffman, K Hunt or a bolter from another club that is released for some reason)

If we go non established my players of interes would be,

K Moss or Dallin Watene Zeleniak from penrith
C Gutherson from Manly
Jack Ahearn from Canberra
Valentine homes from Cronulla

and my bolter Latrell Mitchell who is only playing SG Ball, but looks a freak

Dont sign anyone - groom Mitchell Moses.

Keep Austin on as our 6.

1\. Moses
6\. Austin
7\. Brooks
9\. Farah

now THATS an exciting spine

In my opinion he is irreplaceable with the current talent on the market bar maybe Karmichael Hunt and he will want more than James

Firstly I would resign the rest of our squad from this year with quite a few forwards off contract that extra money will allow quick resigning.

Then I would look at the current squad for options for 2015 - Rowe, Simona, Nofoaluma and I would save my money for 2016 as I don't see much worth looking at available for next year although given we would be lloking at using 1 of those 3 as fullback I'd sign a good utlity back - perhaps Inu for depth and versatility.

Then as 2015 starts we will be able to see if we can use one of those at the back or in which backline positions we will need players for 2016 when Richards will prob have retired but Seve will hopefully have come through. On the market thier is some great options imo - Jarrod Croker, Dane Gagai, Jakob Loko

Might be reaching,

Why not take advantage of the nrl marquee signings.

Bring on izzy lol

The last two games Rowe has have been good. With bulking up more game time he will a good replacement.

Rowe might have gone ok with some of his runs or line breaks, but is always WAY out of position while trying to get to the ball on a kick by the opposition. By saying this I'm not bagging him, but all good fullbacks have a good read on where the ball will go. Bounce of the ball is very costly if your fullback can't get to the ball most of the times, and I'm not talking about the direction of the bounce, but the metre made from catching it on the full compared to the defence being into you by the time you wind up, in this instance the team have to travel further back to start there attack, maybe it takes 2nd tackle before all players are back. Your first two runs end up from dummy half, which are easy pickings for teams that identify this and practice for it.
