Tedesco/Simona/Koribete.

Simona is by far the most consistent of them all and Koribete has that X-factor. Tedesco, whislt he isn't bad, isn't doing anything spectacular.

With the return of Koribete on the cards, I'd be inclided to drop Simona to FB, Koribete to Wing and Tedesco to NSW Cup.

As I said, its not that Tedesco done anything incredibly bad, but has been out performed by the other youngsters around him.

1\. Simona
2\. Koro
5\. Nofu

Well who would you drop when Koribete returns?

It cannot be Simona or Nofu, they have single handedly won us games with their individual brilliance.

Simona to full back and young tedesco to reggies, looks to be playing injured.
Nofu to reggiesor back to 20's still very young also looks to be on one leg.

You could see all the back 3 were getting driven back by the the kick chase.
Koro is a very strong runner and will start our sets of well for the likes of woods and co to paly off. wouldnt mind seeing the centres taking a scoot or two….

Sorry Fumbles, you must be a selector? Because Tedessco has been doing the job, not like slater, but safe enough. Give him a few years. Maybe you could play Fullback?

Sorry for the mix up.

I am talking about MTD.
He makes an anti Tedesco thread each week…Not you.

I agree Tedesco has done a fine job and Potter will stick with him as he will with Sirro who made a few mistakes last night as did Simona and Noffa. Koro dropped a few last time against Cronulla.
That happens with 20 year olds playing in non dominating team. Potter knows what he is doing. Bring on 2014.

Who says Koro walks straight into the side? I'd rather keep our backline as is and make Koro prove himself through reggies. Have we forgotten how he was peppered with bombs?

unlike some of you muppets, i'm able to alter my opinions based on player development and the situation. we have 4 guys fighting for 3 spots. there is no anti tedesco thing… he is small and he is young. he has been safe, but he isn't doing anything special nor is he chiming in as an extra ball player.

at the start of the year i had moltzen ahead of tedesco (because he has played so little games at 20's/NSW CUP/NRL level) now i'd have tedesco ahead of moltzen. moltzen wont have a spot in our team next year.

i considered koro to nsw cup, but i think coming back from injury we need to give him another chance in firsts.. if he continues to be unsafe under the high ball we can bring back tedesco.

its a good problem to have.

We have to leave the backline as is.

Tedesco is warming to the fullback role very well. He is safe as houses in defence and is getting more and more involved in attack.

Nofo and Simona are dangerous on the wings, and our centres are getting back to their best form. We're finally seeing some good backline plays because the centres are able to get quality ball to the wingers.

Koro must come back through State Cup. He hasn't proved he is a consistent first grader yet. Richards doesnt walk straight in to this team. By next year he'll have been untried in the NRL for 7 years. I dare say the game has changed quite a bit since then and as long as our backline are performing there's no spot for him in first grade.

Don't fix what ain't broke!

Tedesco needs to stay at fullback and get a few more games under his belt.

He runs the ball back hard every time without passing off as Moltzen did. I would have Korobete on the wing in NSW cup with the other massive unit Naravaro.

Stick with form and Nofoluma and Simona have earned their spot and I hope Potter sticks with form rather than hype or reputation.

The future looks great for the Tigers!

Simona and Nofo deserve first grade spots going forward. As you have stated they are winning us games. Personally I think Ayshford goes.

1\. Tedesco
2\. Koro
3\. Lawrence
4\. Simona
5\. Nofo

The question to me is can Simona play on the right side. If not then Tedesco has definitely performed at a lower level than Simona and Nofo and I think Korobiete needs to be out there as well.

I could handle that backline, but it spells the end for Ayshford with us. I'm loyal to Ayshford I think he has been unfairly scrutinised at times, but longer term I know we need a better centre. Simona could be it. I could see blake being developed into a backrower of some sort, but first grade isnt the place to do it. I saw the Cutters game and they finally made the decision to use Vidot in the backrow.

Exactly, koro still has some deficiencies in his game and should not walk back into first grade. The way nofo and Simona are playing it might ale some time.

lol why does koro go straight back in? he has been ordinary this year

tedesco has been consistent while aysh and lawrence are incumbent centres.. i wouldnt change anything and have koro in state cup get his confidence levels and communication up

He is pretty good in attack and has plenty of ticker but 'safe as houses" in defence?
Earlier in the year on the wing he was hopeless in defence - in part to playing in a new position I will grant him.
Against the Tiger Sharks he slipped over (again) and didn't get a hand on Wade Graham for the first try , couldn't wrap up Carney for their long range try and got beaten by a 5cm sidestep by Fifita for his first try.
It's a weakness , along with his positioning in defence ,I'm sure both he and the coach are working on.
Any mention of weaknesses in his game on here and you get howled down like MTD (and most likely me) as having some other agenda.
The truth is he is a kid who hasn't lived up to all the hype yet and the other 3 guys MTD mentioned are bringing more to the team at the moment.
That's not saying his potential won't be fulfilled - and maybe playing him busted and in pain every week is doing him no favours.

glad you can see it too.

i would really like to see him develop as more of a ball player - which i think i said before meany has him covered in that sense… maybe playing him at #6 in NSW cup would do him the world of good and prep him for 2014 in NRL.

Koro has lightning pace and the ability to score tries from anywhere. He also hasn't been ordinary - his defence and especially his ability to catch the high ball has been ordinary but I'm willing to give that some time.
