Tetchy Tigers

Tim Sheens knows what he is doing by tearing up his roster and re-building the Tigers, but he is making enemies. The players are having a real issue with what he and the recruitment manager, Warren McDonnell, are doing and Benji Marshall fronted the coach about the situation. Marshall is known to be upset by what has happened to his mates. None of it is going to help the players - the decisions have been made. What is certain is Adam Blair is going to be under the pump in a big way as players have been shed to make way for him. Blair will have Marshall's support - they are tight from their days in the Kiwi side

take it like a man Benji and not a primadona.Who do these guyz think are? this is a professional rugby league team not a pub team whose sole purpose is just to get together on the piss and have a muck around game of footy every Sunday. Its good to see they are starting to weed out the deadwood, and if Benji and his mates have an issue then tough. **POST EDITED BY ADMIN**

Yeah im confident he knows what hes doing…...I think maybe after a few games this year hes finally had enough of there inconsistent performances and lack of go forward.Or maybe with how slow the ruck is this year he knows we need some more mungrel in our forwards.

Lots of young guys coming through.Club

The fact our players are questioning this is annoying when they play like world beaters 1 week and the next....well we all know to well.

I'm sick of Farah and Marshall thinking they own the club and doing whatever they want. While Sheens is doing a clean up he might as well make Chris Lawrence the new captain starting from next week.

IMO it needs to be done and Marshall needs to know his place. Yes he is a superstar and paid accordingly well but he's not the only player in the team. What is apparent is that the Tigers have failed to live up to expectations this season, despite the injuries they have suffered, they're not playing like a well-drilled and confident team should given the skill level amongst the squad.

So far it's confirmed that Payten, McKinnon, Gibbs and Fifita will all be gone from next season with Moltzen, Ryan, Heighno, Daniela and Lui all rumoured to be either chased by other clubs, or allowed to talk to other clubs. Whether this is the end of the cleanout, or just the beginning, one thing I am sure of is that there is a method to this apparent madness. There has to be an end goal and I would assume that revolves around building a more competitive squad, which is a good thing.

Whats the relevance with the thread title and this ''story''
I was expecting something about a revolutionary new training apparatus or something

I'm not wanting to start any arguments here , but wasn't there a supposed fall out between Marshall and Blair a few years ago ??? Maybe all is sorted now and they are Bros

someone probably edited the typo. The article wasn't online so no doubt it was that.

tetch·y/ˈteCHē/
Adjective: Bad-tempered and irritable.

first time i've seen the word too..

Yeah I also thought Adam & Benji were haters, from a few comments I read on the forums.
I guess only the boys know the truth but I doubt they hate each other.

Tigers are moving forward, I like that direction… It's clear some people don't, but what can they do?
A clean-out is appropriate and will be refreshing, LETS GO 2012 !

so now if we dont make the finals this year some people will make excuses saying "its a clean-out year" and if we dont make the finals next year it will be because its a "rebuilding year"

Come on mate, u have to be patient. Give Sheens some time, 9 years isnt enough to build the team he wants. Cant believe the expectations some have, u honestly think it takes less than 10 years to establish the squad u want???????????????
