Thanks Broncos

For playing Parra into form, for making Reni Maitua look like John Sutton (whenever he plays us) and for igniting Chris Sandow. WERE IN A WHOLE HEAP OF TROUBLE.

Hmmm… dunno about that. After being 'up' for the last two games against big name sides, Parra might find it hard to keep that sort of football happening if a game gets taken to them.

Question is, are we capable of taking it to them?

Thank broncs for losing for sure.
The eels have won 2 on the trot now which always happens when there is a new coach.
The honey moon is over but if we play like sunday, well yeah…........don't need to finish the sentence

this is blessing in disguise lads.

Broncs have now slipped out of the 4, and is now making the top 8 shuffle a bit.

all of a sudden its not a race for the bottom 1 or 2 spots - anything can happen.

We should bounce back and shellack the Eels - particularly at Cambo.

I agree. The last couple of rounds have seen plenty of upsets and all of a sudden, the table is very congested. Every week there are now critical matches that are just too tough to call. Just have a look at a sample from this weekend:

Newcastle/Canterbury
Nth Qld/Manly
NZ/Cronulla
Gold Coast/Souths
Parramatta/Wests

Good luck tipping every one of these matches correct.

We don't need to worry about other results. There are just so many different combinations and permutations of results that it is almost impossible to find the exact combination that kills us even if we win every match. We still control our fate in the competition, however Sheens needs to get his team selection right and the players need to pull their finger out.

It's a concern thats for sure. The eels now have much better form than us. We should still win, but after last night i'm not so sure. If our boys can't put in for this then they deserve all the abuse they'll get afterwards. Everything to play for. It's a home game too. A poor performance will not be tolerated.

I suppose Underdog is right

If Canberra can beat the Broncos at home (they have been one of the Broncos bogey sides over the last few years )

The Broncos could be in trouble

They face Bulldogs away
Storm at home
Manly away
Penrith at home

for me this is final stand stuff -

I will always give our boys a chance if there is one mathematically that heart point blank refuses to let me give up on them, however the head says if they don't stand up and beat the Eels by a wide margin, and infact lose to the eels, I will probably start looking towards 2013 as an exciting prospect.

This is it. They have to stand up to the Eels. They have to be willing to get down and dirty. Have to commit to defence before attack. They have to show the hunger that was there in the 7 game win streak. If they don't, they don't deserve finals and they don't deserve our loyal support. You earn respect, now go out and get it Tigers.

If Parramatta throw the ball around at will and offload like they did in 2009, we will be no chance.

We have never been able to contain or handle teams that play like this.

Broncos not winning could help us if we make a promising run for the finals

Not scared at all of this weekend. This is our game

If the boys win the rest of the games (5) then that, in turn, means we will play all 3 finals and if we win those that means an 8-game streak. One up from our previous streak. Could be fate?

 yeah and IF my aunty had balls she'd be me uncle…..

The Broncos were terrible! Who were they missing from their team, Parker, Hodges and Hoffman? It was like watching the Tigers, no attitude in defense, just pitiful arm grabbing attempts at best! Peter Wallace was on fire during the first half of the year but has been crap for weeks. His last tackle options are poor decisions, he looks like Benji - they've both lost their mojo!

It will be all over Monday night.

Oh well, it's only another year. Next year will be our year.

Hope the Weststigers Board don't do anything drastic. Like, actually doing anything!!!
