That is what happens when you don't beat crap teams

Sadly we donthave a great roster. Honest but we lack speed and power.

Our early season from caught teams off guard.

Now we have a real tough task getting that momentum back.

Temas have worked us out.

We are losing the ruck convincingly the last3 weeks. We look tired.

Everytime Fanua and MCK and Masters get the ball I'm thing plenty of power there.

Cant get continuity in key positions lately with Packer Rowdy ET and Twal often out.
They are they keys to our ruck control.

Do you post anything positive? Seriously, just went through the 1st game against the Roosters, you laid the boot in 3 times and then crickets were heard from you after we won.

Sorry to derail the thread fellas but this thread makes a lot more sense now

This is the same poster who blew a gasket the day we got lapped when Farah’s mum died. A day the players were clearly affected. Marshall was bawling during the minute silence. A day not even the supporters cared about the scoreline.

Sharks didn't smash the eels…
They won by two points.

it was 22-4 at the time I posted it anyway they won we had about 5 chances to beat those idiots and kept giving back the lead

That's the tigers mate.
Could be ahead 30-0 at half time then go to sleep in the second half and end up losing 30-40

Haha yeah I found myself thinking the same thing… Username may change but posting styles and attitudes dont

I think the refs crackdown in the first few weeks helped our grinding style. But after some criticism the nrl changed their interpretations.
I just don't think they liked us going "off the script".

I imagine there are many around who have had a few times round on this merry go round Ink

What can you do , people support their team the way they want I guess

Foe button works OK still

It doesn't bother me…...the old saying a leopard doesn't change its spots comes to mind.

I'm still confused tho is a 2pt win considered a flogging now..?

Thank goodness I'm a tiger then…

In 2018 opposing team's tries have come this way

OUTSIDE BACKS- (90% wingers) –16

FORWARDS -4
Think the middle is holding up ok.

If you lose the ruck area and centre of the field then your outside backs will be exploited. The figures you are showing actually counter your own arguement to a large extent

I think you're right in that we're losing the middle, the yardage stats from last week alone show that. And our defence is having to come in to help, that's why they're going around us, sure.

But if the forwards were going good, and if our backs was the sole problem, what exactly would those figures look like? I'd have thought they'd look pretty much the same. Maybe lop-sided to one particular edge ??

True, but we are not being trampled by teams as we were in the last few years. The memories of going to Leichhardt and seeing the Roosters and Raiders" forwards trample us are fresh in my mind -they didn't need their outside backs.

We are a very well coached team, we are not throwing the towel in and we are playing with plenty of ticker and I think we have made a big leap forward from last year. I also think our roster is lacking speed and power and skill to a lesser extent and as the grind sets in this is coming more obvious. I seriously doubt we will make the 8, but we will compete hard every week and not be embarrassed. A couple of really good mid season signings could really change things but I doubt that will happen

Losing streams happen when you lose to crap teams like the eels and knights. then you lose to decent teams then all of a sudden you lose 3 in a row… and yeah same old tigers same team same franchise different year. they fool us with a good start most years this year went a bit longer but back to oh no we suck again

Ive got no idea about your history on this forum or anything like that but what you posted in the first post is fair enough comment and you think would be treated with a little bit of respect.

Most of the comments since have been of a personal nature directed at you.

Obviously more going on here.
