This Benji character has completely lost it all, defence, attack, organisation, kicking and worst of all his own self respect. Can anybody please give me one good reason why week in and week out he keeps keep getting selected week in and week out? Selecting him so he can reach the 200 game mark is an insult to other footballers who deserve his place. Getting him to finish with West Tigers tomorrow would (i) enable Brooks to play next week (ii) save what semblance of football self respect he still has left. As I said elsewhere, it wouldn't surprise me if the club can't afford to drop him. It is probably worth more to the club to have him play and cash in on his "farewell tour" for as long as possible. Not to mention the media backlash if he was to be punted. Summarily it is better for the club to just ride it out with him on the park, no matter how much we/the club hates it.
