The seasons over what next?

Dare I say it but maybe we should have approached Phil Gould to work at our club to do what he did at Penrith with pathways etc. before the warriors jumped onto it . Ok I’ll go wash my mouth out now.

We are already going down that track. The pathways from junior football in both the Macarthur area and Balmain juniors have been in play for a couple of seasons. This has been severely disrupted by having no Canterbury Cup this season. We are trying to align ourselves to St Gregorys Campbelltown as a feeder/scholarship school. I think the club is trying to repair relations with the Macarthur area - hopefully the horse hasn;t bolted.

As long as Brooks is our 7 nothing will change.
If we lose Grant (which I have no doubt we will) we won't be a semi final team again.

I'd be going after Matt Burton and Triston Sailor, I'd play Sailor at 1, Burton at 7.
We need enthusiasm and speed, and a good kicking game and these two provide both.
As long as Doueihi is our 1 we won't be a threat, you just can't have a slug as a fullback I don't care how safe he is at taking kicks.

I'd also be looking at Tamou, we need a forward leader badly!!!!!

We all know who needs to go so I won't bother listing them.

The quicker 2020 is done the better really.

Unfortunately 2020 is just a number, numbers change but not much else does at the Tigers it seems.

2021 still has big question marks over 1 , 6, 7 and 9.

The forwards are looking ok but i can't see any changes in ladder positions until we have solid players in at-least half of the spine. Add to that depth, who we have on contract, who's coming off contract and what players are available in the market and on top of that, the rumors of coach leaving/ players unhappy etc...

If there was a betting market for West's not playing finals before the 20 year anniversary of the GF, it would be pretty short odds imo. In saying that, ill still be here. Hoping.
