99.9% sure it was David.
Playing at number 10 prop forward with headgear on. His brother Andrew(i think) was there watching his games in support.

What changed in a week…

Just as yesterday proved, Fifita was introduced to Jim Beam /State Cup level and had less impact stepping up to another level. Don't get me wrong, he played very well, but the next level up showed that it takes more time to adjust from the NYC touch football standard. Lui IMO still needs another at least another year to develop.

BRET wore a reverse strip black with gold V and numbers. Think it was 5 tries to 4 but let in a try right on full time to level it up 5 all. Was a a pure trial hitout with lots of fresh faces trying to impress. A few of the regular starters sat this one out.
Rain in the 2nd half tightened both team's attacks a bit with less ball shifting. Both Magpies and BRET will probably know which players Sheens will disperse back into their teams this coming week.
