This Simona kid

Yeah hopefully he is getting back to his best. When Simona first came on the scene for us, I thought he was gonna be something real special, but then he has been injured lots and not playing quite so well in the past 18 months or so. I thought he was going to end up being another one season wonder, especially since we haven't had a lot of luck with centres in recent times - e.g. Collis, Ayshford and Lawrence all fizzling out after really promising starts. Hopefully this isn't the case with Tim and he can overcome his injuries and get back to his early form for us asap.

I think it's just common for centres in general. Not sure what it is but it seems it's the hardest position to find a genuine gamebreaker in. All the best centres in the NRL aside from Dylan Walker and Konrad Hurrell have been around for a while. Hodges, Lyon, Morris, Jennings etc.

He's one of my fav players.
I think at his best, he's lethal.
Full field runner.
He's been quiet so far though, can't wait 'till he starts smashin it!

I agree. One of my favourite players as well. Speed, a great fend, good footwork and he competes.

With no injuries,Simona will improve heaps as he gets runs under his belt…he certainly has the potential to tear holes in the opposition with his turn of foot....

He's improved from last year with the ball in hand already so far this season. Often looks dangerous with his step and fend and has also had some nice TAs. Will be good to see him some space soon!

Not convinced his best position isn't wing, or even fullback. Our attacking plays are all about giving centers/backrowers late ball or second man plays cutting them out. Simona needs early ball with space, he won't be effective in our current structure.

Yeah he hasnt got any space at all so far…looked injured on Friday which is a worry!

He has looked that way for the last 12 months….hobbled during a chase Friday night....and definitely lost his pace from 2012.
