TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR MANLY GAME
Monday, 1 March 2010

Wests Tigers supporters can now purchase tickets for the opening round blockbuster against Manly Sea Eagles at the Sydney Football Stadium on Sunday, March 15.

Tickets went on sale this morning through Ticketek.

The excitement and skills of the Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars match, the commitment of Wests Tigers superstar Benji Marshall to a lifetime deal at the club, the unpredictable brilliance of Jarryd Hayne and the belief among all fans that their team will be the one to win this year’s Premiership have helped set the scene for a blockbuster start to the year.

“Everyone is counting down the days to the start of the Telstra Premiership,” NRL Chief Executive David Gallop said.

“The excitement around the All Stars match, Community Carnival and trials across the country show how happy fans are to have the footy back and the opening round action is something everyone will want to be part of.

“Already we have seen new major sponsors come on board, clubs are breaking membership records and record numbers of kids are registering to play Rugby League.

“There is going to be a big demand for tickets and I encourage all fans to get in early and book their seats as tickets will sell quickly.

“Of course, the best way to secure your seat is to become an NRL Club Member.”

Hmmm Monday night.

Tough to get to for Liverpool/Campbelltownians.

Anyone here willing to predict a bigger crowd than 16000 ?

Even if Lotto plays?

With Lote confirmed I can see a crowd of at least 20'000.

If the weather is good… it might be even more i reckon... It's a shame it scheduled for a Monday night, otherwise a Friday night would get 30k+ easily imo

I've already planned to make a night of it with my mates from scumville. Got a crew of about 20
Light Brigade -> Paddo Inn -> SFS -> Scubar -> gutter

the SFS is so much more of an attractive an option than ANZzzzz
