Tiger internationals

Is it just me or do we sign more kiwis and poms than most clubs?
I reckon it is a scheme by sheens to bolster our stocks during the origin periods, which is funny when we never seem to win the games we are meant to win during this period.

I don't have anything against this idea, i actually think its pretty smart but gee i get pissed with this team when we lose to other teams that are missing origin stars.

The only reason i mention this is because a friend of mine has started calling us the nz tigers and then we look like signing another one in messan.

Be good to see a list of which clubs have the most kiwis or poms.

we do seem to do that…

also our link to Keebra has strong links to the shaky isles, further enhances our kiwi players

Also Shifty Sheens knows it's good to have Kiwis during SOO time…

Doesn't matter how many kiwi's you have if you loss the easy games!

And I thought this thread was about the amount of Kiwis we had… I noticed we beat Melbourne a few weeks back...

Back in 2005 the Premiers only had one player selected for the Australian side in Scott Prince and this defied the trend since I can remember when the team that wins the comp supplies 5 or 6 players to the Kangaroos.
The Australian coach at the time Mr Happy Joe Happy then at Brisvegas when asked to comment suggested that we should be over the moon that we got so many players selected for NZ, very droll Wayne but true.

hasnt helped loosing against two sides everyone else in the top 8 are getting the 2 points from…
Buying players doesnt inherit pride in the jersey and club....

I could deal with a loss to the storm but not the knights!

That is as much a reflection the goose who coaches NSW and ignores players that perform well over the season to go for idiot selections that get his name on the back page

origin players hardly miss 2 games a season… no point buying an international for that sole reason.

tbh OP, i've thought of the same thing but left the idea alone coz i thought it would be stupid to do so

Bolster our stocks during Origin? You gotta get players selected for SOO first before you bolster your stocks. We're lucky to have one a yr. Thats drawing a reeeaaalllyyy long bow imo

**All** the teams above us on the ladder have more Origin reps than us

Be that as it may… it is still less disruptive. In any case I was talking more about Sheens mindset on these things.
