Tigers news in RLW

Just a little bit of news in this week's RLW magazine. There is a piece early on about the Tigers Origin snubbing. Bryce Gibbs is quoted as saying that the Tigers are using the snubbing as motivation to fire them up for matches. Sheens goes on to say that Ennis hasn't done much and Robbie would offer more at hooker, as well as Lawrence and Heighno also being up to Origin standard and deserving a go.

The only other news I came across was on Tame Tupou. It just revolved around the Tigers wanting to use him in the forwards. Sheens is quoted as saying with Tame's size, strength and speed, he will take a bit of stopping in the forwards and is expecting big things from him once he's fully match fit. Sounds like he's in Sheens plans for FG this season going off that info.

And former Tiger and Titan Ben Jeffrey is killing it for Griffith and wanting another shot in the NRL. He's still only 23 too.

Ben Jeffrey…was an excellent prospect when he was with the Tigers...Titans had high hopes for him but it didn't work out...as for a come back to the Tigers...no thanks...we have far better prospects coming through....
