Our social media post just get hoards of keyboard Warriors giving it to the club. Surely that doesn’t help our broken reputation?

Current NRL players makes it difficult. Some players for Fiji and Lebanon i went to list but only have reserve grade contracts. Settled on:
Danny Levi 4 tests NZ 1 Samoa 9 games Broncos 2021
Herman Ese'ese 6 tests Samoa, 1 NZ 3 games Titans 2021
Marion Seve 2 tests Samoa 2 games Storm 2021

Actually think it’s pretty exciting that we have three Australian International women joining and representing WT.
Well played to all involved and welcome to WT ladies!

Yeah I guess winning a Tarsha Gale Cup and a KOE is almost equal to a Top 8 finish ...but a wooden spoon would bring that all crashing down ..

And wouldn't you want to be signing Qlders if you wanted a Strong Women's Wests Tigers side .....

Yes you would. QLD women are physically stronger, healthier. I wonder if they’ll have an emphasis on older recruits for their leadership value? Or younger, enthusiastic, quicker players for their eagerness to develop and form a team?

Wests Tigers make another key signing

It’s been an exciting few days for Wests Tigers fans after the club announced Ryan Powell will be joining star recruits Kezie Apps and Jess Sergis in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership side for 2022.

Powell brings to the club a wealth of coaching experience having coached at Helensburgh Tigers, Apps and Sergis’ previous club, for over six years.

For his first four years, Powell coached the Helensburgh men’s first grade side before coaching the women’s senior team for the past two seasons.

While at the helm, Powell led Helensburgh to a top four position this year before the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 situation in Sydney. The Tigers finished with a record of seven wins and four losses.

“I’m really excited for the new opportunity with Wests Tigers and I can see the club is heading in a great direction with women’s rugby league,” Powell told weststigers.com.au.

“I want to present the club in its best light to give everyone the opportunity to get an NRLW team, because that’s my goal, to reach that.”

The Tigers squad has also been bolstered after international fullback and club captain Botille Vette-Welsh re-signed with the club.
