Just in 9 news the tigers have told Heighington that he can talk to other clubs. Eels & Sharks are interested.

Poor Heighno, he would be gutted.
The bloke absolutely loves the club and has given so much.

Maybe now sirro will take his spot in the team

True, I'd like to see sirro as a ball playing 13 around Anasta, Robbie and benji.

It is sad to see him go but injuries have runied his career, he is a great player and he should have had a better sendoff he will probably follow Ellis to Hull. This also makes me more confident for next year.

What a disgrace! So Rhino is the scapegoat for Sheens' flaws. I hope there's a player revolt. Their intentions are sickening.

I can understand they feel his best years may behind him and he is now a little off the pace but they same thing could be said about the coach and he is not being shopped around. Of course it also come down to demand and maybe Rhino is in demand and it would seem Sheens isnt

Running at markers and dancing at the deffensive line has impacted he's career, i remember when he was younger when he used to run hard and break tackles, hopefully a new voice can help his career, also have heard that Ayshford has been offered to souths and Parra.

Seriously the club cannot win! Halfway through the year everybody was saying its time for Heighno to move on. Now that it may be happening the grandstand will be ripped down. He started to play well when all this Luke Lewis stuff was happening. And Im sure the Sharks would want him? They are short in the backrow! Gallen, Lewis, Graham, Bukuya and Tupou.

Just would also like to add that the first player who should be shopped out of here is Moltzen, it really irks me that a poor performer can get a 3 year deal and others who atleast show some passion get shopped around, not really fair imo at least others put there body on the line.

The club is a joke. He has a year to go and could be given a send off befitting a 10+ year premiership winning player who is the heart and soul of the club and is one of the true workers of the team. Regardless of his age and form in 2012, he outplayed Blair (not hard) and at worst of the bench next year is still valuable. I can't wait for him, Gibbs and fifita to have all the success that comes by getting out of the club.

Sad to hear he has been asked to move on. He has always given his all but football clubs are a business and he will follow others who have moved on (O'Neill and Hodgo just to mention 2) i hope he goes well for whoever he goes to he has given WT great service over the years and deserved a good send off at his last home game.

I don't really like it. The players say he's the heart and soul of the team so treating him bad could lead to bad things. I would have kept him ahead of plenty of others after his late season form. I would have liked to have given him another year so he could have an official send off match rather than nonchalantly move him on in the off season. He gets no fanfare. Sucks. Hopefully he goes to the Sharks and does a Gibbs on us.

Remember he was the Forums Player of the Year quite a few times. He's the WT most capped player. Yeah, I don't like it.

Yep your true supporters. In Sheens defence, remember last year when they tried to offload Heino and Ryan, the players revolted. Our biggest problem is Marshall, Moltzen stayed because of him and it looks like the coach will remain as well. No wonder Farahs sick of the joint.

Nah, this isn't the way you treat somebody who's been a stalwart of the club and remained loyal and always gave his all. You don't "offload" a bloke of this calibre in such a seemingly ad hoc way two weeks after a failed season has ended.

And save me all the macho, grumpy old man, league is a business talk … A guy like Chris deserves better.

Really bad karma HQ.

This club is quickly losing it's soul.

Exactly…...Great clubman, great role model on and off the field.

There are just some players you would hold on to until the end..............Heighno is one of them.

Its a disgrace to be let go in such fashion
