Anyone going to the game over the ditch Sunday week??? This will be my first time ever going to watch the Tigers in NZ and was wondering if anyone was going and what their plans were for tickets / getting to game / nightlife etc ???

Havent got a passport so i cant go, know the old girl and sister have been a few times, said it was pretty good as well. I will ask them tonight for you when i go over for dinner where is the best place to go etc, pretty sure though they went when it was our home game in christchurch though.

Thanks all you know. I've been planning on going over to NZ to watch this game for years but have never gone. With some real cheap airfares and a great aussie dollar against the NZ dollar I decided this is the year or never.

Any info you have all you know will be appreciated :smiley:

Wests Tigers Members who are looking to attend the Wests Tigers v Auckland Warriors away match at Mount Smart Stadium on the June long weekend, can order tickets at Ticketek NZ

The Wests Tigers take on the Auckland Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday June 12 at 4pm (local time).

The clash falls on the June Long Weekend which sees Australians granted a public holiday on Monday June 13.

The Auckland Warriors have advised that away supporters are seated in the Colin Kay West Stand which is directly behind the opposition bench.

Covered Seating is available in Bay 4 while Uncovered Seating is in Bay 12.

Fans are advised to contact Ticketek NZ directly to advise them of the “Bay” they require.

To book specific seats, call NZ Ticketek direct. This was the hard part but i finally got this number which worked. 0011 64 9 307 5000.

We paid $48NZ for the best seats. Row K in Bay 4 which is under cover and behind the Tigers bench around halfway.

We're there from Thursday to Tuesday. Will also be my first NZ trip.

we're in Parnell which we got told is close to the city and everything we need. Its a 4 star hotel we got pretty cheap.

Also just hired a car for the 5 days to get around.

flying out on Virgin on Thursday morning.

Booked tickets tonight. Bay 4 must be sold out as I'm in bay 5 row A. Really looking forward to this game now. Bring on the Knights on Monday and then on Friday I fly out :stuck_out_tongue:

not sure of Saturday plans yet. We've got some mates over there so will see what they recommend.
