Most people are naming Simona at centre, He definitely is not a centre. He was ordinary up until half way through the Penrith game, Koroibete went down injured so he shifted to the wing..that's when he's try scoring, tackle breaking spree begun. He isn't a centre and I would not be moving him there any time soon. I would be going with Koro and Simona wing, Nofo and Lawrence center with Teddy at fullback.

Actually, he is a centre. I believe he has played centre through the juniors and has been playing centre in NSW Cup for the past few seasons.

I agree I think he's a centre that can also play very well on the wing

He may have played junior footy in the centres but he has deffinately found his place on the wing. Personally I'd leave him right there.

Simona has played most of his junior football in the centres and just about all of his senior football barring a couple of games this year. There's a reason for that in case you haven't figured it out. I've seen Simona play a bit over the last 2-3 years so I think I'm in a position to judge what position he is best suited to and prefers to play, but by all means carry on with your rash statements and assumptions.

the role of a centre depends from team to team tbh
since our left hand backrow usually has thompson, anasta or bmm- defensively it's very weak. lawrence would be a better option than simona on the left
on the right however, fulton with a genuine speedster like simona and nofo outside him could provide great service as well as cover up their defense.
im ok with simona playing on the wing to get used to the physicality of being a full time centre defensively.
compare this to someone like chambers or nielsen at the storm, where their main role is to hit a hole when the halves do most of the work and the b/r with hoffman does more than its fair share of defending.
simona's best position imo is on the wing ATM.
