Well I have just sat through 80 minutes of the Burgess show. It wasn't an NRL game tonight but a beat up of the four brothers. If I heard Warren, Gould and Fittler say "Burgess" once, I reckon I heard it a hundred timed. Even 'the talking head' Cameron Williams called it the Burgessathon after the game.

Marshall - 200 NRL games
Tuqiri - 150 NRL games
Burgess, Sam - 66 NRL games
Burgess, George - 20 NRL games
Burgess, Luke - 2 NRL games
Burgess, Tom - 7 NRL games

Channel 9 should hang their heads in shame. There was an on field presentation for Benji Marshall for his 200th game and why did the viewing public not see it; Fittler was too busy interviewing the Burgess' mother for God sake, and hanging around for photographs. What was the mother even doing on the field? I admit that having the four boys play together was historic, but the commentary team certainly let it overshadow the achievements of Marshall and Tuqiri. Why didn't Fittler grab both of the Tigers players for an interview. Would have been more interesting than him sniffing around the Burgess' mother.

Yes I am Tigers fan, but also love the Rabbitos. Watching them all season, the way they play the game is a credit to all of Souths team, their coaches and not let's forget their supporter base.

Warren, Gould and particularly Fittler have behaved poorly and will not earn the same respect from me in the future.

A public apology to the two Tigers players, from the three of you, would be in order.

I'll tell you why. Milestone games don't seem to matter too much to the NRL. We should be celebrating 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and if again 350 first grade matches much more then we do. It's a very fine achievement and its glossed over all the time. The AFL do this much better then us.
