Did anyone watch it?

The best footy show on tv - (i think i'v ever seen). Why can't they have that every week. They actually spoke about footy. Gus is sensational when he analysis footy, i know he can be annoying but when he disects a game it's great viewing.

i don't mind Hadley in the kind of setting either, he speaks his mnd and doesn't hold back.

Hope they have that show all next year.

I can't see how they would be able to keep that standard for a whole season as there just clearly isn't enough happening the rugby league world to fill a weekly show with the higher-level content.
But otherwise it was great. Gotta love Gus' analysis of attack and defence! THAT is what we want from footy shows
 
Excellent show, compelling viewing.
A bit of a cross between Sunday Roast and NRL Tactics without the stupid stuff.
Don't agree that there wouldn't be enough material each week, I reckon they could have made it a 2 hour show tonight and every other night.

P.S. Did anyone pick the old forum member being interviewed ? Spoke very well and probably deserves his own segment. :sign:
 
When I saw the title, I thought it would be about all the clubs Mad Monday celebrations and gee-ups…

Sounds like it was a success. Maybe this is Channel Nines way to increasing there appeal before the new TV Rights?

I IQ'd it and watched a bit this morning before i left for work... Was a very high quality show, I think its on again next week (could be wrong though).
 
I saw it and was highly impressed with Gus and Hadley the journo was good as well.

Great interview with Bennet, great dssection of where the games will be won and lost this wekend.

interesting to see that a high percentage of our tries this year have been scored either under or adjacent to the posts.
 
great show just what league needs no rubbish .gus and hadley went well the bennett interview was great we saw the man and how he thinks more please BUT PUT IT ON AT 9.30 IT WAS TO LATE FOR THE WORKING MAN AND THE YOUNGER PEOPLE BRAIN DEAD 9 :brick: :brick:
 
Enjoyed the show…Gus was his usual analytical best...good stuff but why on so late...surely there is a 930pm slot there?
 
A great show because it was all about talking RL. None of the other tired garbage that gets dished up on other shows.
 
yea great show but needs to be a 2 hour show and you gotta love a footy show that actualy talks footy.

Agree. Just talking about footy with none of the variety aspects (even the 'mad roosters fan' wasn't about making fun of the guy but celebrating being a fan…I actually felt excited for him when he got on the field). Good show overall, shame is started halfway into the finals (that reeks to me of Channel Nine, too late in the day, trying to capitalise on the game's increased Tv ratings...not big on planning these days are Nine). Anyway, enough moaning well done.

PS - didn't like the look of 'how few' tries St G concede.
 
Channel 9 needed to do this at the start of the season. Their lack of coverage for league is poor in the least
