I think it would be a good idea to give Farah a spell and use a player with real speed out of dummy half later in the game. Lets face it, something has to happen in this area, it's pretty ordinary lately.

Been thinking this for a while now… I think every team in the Top 8 except Melbourne are doing it.

Are you thinking a Hooker on the bench (Nadira/Polontini) or another option?

Maybe Moltzen starting on the interchange and coming on as dummy half.
I'd prefer Moltzen doing that role than him playing fullback. I still wish Moltzen was our halfback though.

My Dream Team side "Alien's Angels" has 3 hookers!
Cam Smith starting in the 9, and Srama and Farah on the interchange, but Farah and Srama can play in the halves too!

Yeah not sure about the talent in this position coming through but someone with some real spark that can get the ruck rolling. Kind of like the role Shane Flanagan used to play.

Would be better than having a token back on the bench to play 3 minutes at the death. The problem is it is 2 changes, 1 to get Farah off and another to get him back on again (in a tight game you want your best players out there at the death). How long do you want to go without Farah out there, and effectively, how many minutes are you picking a certain player to play?

Yeah, that is 2 changes. Not great to do that.

Could Farah defend on the wing for a couple of spells? Or do we have too many players doing it? :stuck_out_tongue:

I guess its also up to him. He is captain. He should be able to stay behind the ruck and tell other forwards to take some extra runs.

Maybe someone like Moltzen on the interchange can come on for a bit whilst one of the second-rowers go off. That way Farah can stay on the field but he wouldn't have to run to the play-the-ball every tackle when we have the ball. That way we don't waste 2 interchanges. The problem is Moltzen, or who-ever it is, will have to be up to it defensively.

What about using Fulton as the second hooker he is on the field anyway, when he goes to hooker, move Robbie to half and Lui goes off and bring another forward on to replace Lui.

fantastic idea…
I've been thinking Fulton as a Hooker for a while now - drop Lui and put Farah in at half... lol

lol,

Halatau is showing how much of a "loss" :roll he is filling in for Ennis…

I'd rather have N'dira if farah ever got injured...

Robbie needs to play 2nd receiver for part of the game. He is not effective at dummy half as he has been. I like the idea of spelling Lui, bring on someone who can defend and push Robbie out of the firing line.

If Sheens persists with Lui, he should be made the bench hooker/utility. Would do a good job there IMO.

Lui would slot into dummy half as he should be able to adapt to that type of passing game, he can also kick (as long as he avoids kicking down opponents throats) but his defence is a concern. Farah chalks up heaps of tackles so Lui would have to be placed in the line where he wasn't exposed as its not certain he could match Farah's defensive effort (in fact I'm not confident he could).

fulton would be a very good utility player starting on the interchange. he can come on and play some dummy half
