U20S TRIAL NOW AT CONCORD OVAL
Tuesday, 9 February 2010

Wests Tigers U20s squad will play Campbelltown Eagles Bundaberg Cup team in a trial match at Concord Oval on Saturday, February 13.

The trial match was originally scheduled for Kirkham Park at Camden but the ground is now unavailable. The trial will be played over 80 minutes and in four quarters.

The trial kicks off at 4pm. Wests Tigers Coach Grant Jones has selected two teams for the trial as he works out his combinations in the lead up to next month’s season kick-off.

This will be the second trial match for the Wests Tigers U20s team following a good solid hit out against the Bulldogs a fortnight ago.

Prior to the trial, Western Suburbs Magpies will tackle Canberra Raiders in round one of the NSWRL Junior Representative competition at Concord Oval.

The Harold Matthews match starts at 12.30pm and the SG Ball game at 2pm.

Who cares. It's a trial and the 20's are running out two sides.

Anyone know what keleti vaingalo is doing? He hasn't been named in either trial and was talked up by board members when signed

Ellery Wilson - lovechild of the Black Pearl & Whitelegs Wilson.
Got to be a gunplayer who looks a bit like a zebra!!

I really hope Sama Sauvao kicks on this year he looked like quality last year.

Yeah that's an interesting one, Aaron Woods hasn't been named anywhere either and isn't listed as injured so maybe they might turn out in the State Cup trials. Both boys don't lack for size and strength.

Yeah I know that but it's an Under 20's side playing against full grown men, even if it is just a Bunderberg Red team.

Why's that? Both the Under 20's and Bundaberg Cup teams are 1 level under NSW Cup. I thought it would be around even.

Why's that? Just my opinion after watching them go round…

Why don't you come out on Saturday and see for yourself.....

The 20's played Shellharbour's first grade side from the Illawarra league last year and towelled them, and Shellharbour ended making the semis too.

Think you will find Vaingalo selected in Balmain SG Ball. Probably depend on how he goes there whether he gets a crack later on in the season.

Campbelltown lead 2 tries to 1 at the end of game 1\. Scrappy game.

Apparently Roqica looks massive. Lui is sitting in the stands from the report I got.

Just got an update from Geo, Tigers now up 3 tries to 2, Ben Murdoch just scored his first try in Tigers colours.
