Former Test batsman Ian Redpath has passed away at the age of 83
After playing 66 Tests in the 1960-70s, Redpath joined the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame in 2023

Always one of my favourite of that era.Classy bat with plenty of grit. From memory could roll his arm over if required and a good fielder.

Ah, those were the days.

I must be getting old. Too many of my sporting heroes are passing. Still great memories. I was a cricket tragic but have lost that passion. Thankfully my love of Magpies and Wests Tigers remains undiminished.
