Vale Rosie

Todd?!! 70kgs?!! Holy guacamole lol.

We had a Great Dane years ago who admittedly was the runt of the litter but she only ever got to 50kg lol.

I'm so glad you got back on the horse. I don't know how old she is but it doesn't matter - young ones you've got a long time to enjoy them and old ones you can ensure their last years are spectacular!!

Good on you!

My staffy passed away last week. She was such a trooper she never complained or sulked even though she was probably blind and deaf. I will never forget you Macy. I don't think I'm going to get another dog I don't want to deal with another loss.
I felt the same way. The grief remains, but there are dogs that need to be rescued , particularly staffies, to a home that can give the love and time that they need. When you are ready that would be a way to honour Macy. Of course being ready takes time, the grief of losing a dog is a terrible thing.

So sorry you lost Macy @upthetigers 💔❤️

I think @Todd Packer is right, though. When you're ready, she will lead you to another staffy who needs you. My friends had an old staffy, Dave, who was 15 when he died. Since then, they've rescued 4 elderly staffies and spoilt them rotten until their time came. The one they have now, Ian, is the happiest dog I've ever seen and the complete opposite of the sad old fella they picked up just a few months ago.

I hope your heart heals soon

Sucks dude. Non- pet owners don’t understand the bond that exists with pets, but it’s there and it’s strong. Always enjoy them while you have them. Chin up brother.
